Time-Stacked Skies Pictures That Look Like Paintings

Canadian photographer Matt Molloy makes landscapes cliches where the skies look like impressionist paintings. Either it’s cloudy, sunny or blue, the sky seems to be made from brushstrokes. To get this effect, the photographer simply uses the technique for the timelapse, shaping a “Time Stack” sequence : the captured pictures are gathered in one and only photo but the sky shows the evolution of time, light, shadows and movement, similar tot the long exposure technique.
